2021 Fund Our Ferals' Future!

Our building is no longer a "wish" or a "hope" but it's here! We've made huge renovations to customize this building for our use, using a very large chunk of our funds on hand. We now have the regular monthly expenses of mortgage payment, utilities, etc.

We have pledges totaling $10,000 - you can double the effect of your donations by helping us fund our monthly expenses for our new building!

Campaign Details

After 13 years of operating solely from volunteer's homes, basements and garages, we finally have a building! It is a standalone ~3300 sq ft building with ample parking. We have made extensive renovations and upgrades to the building and have received our occupancy permit. Over the next several months, we will be gradually migrating our operations to the new building (and once this Covid-19 craziness is out of the way, we'll have an Open House so all of our wonderful donors and supporters can see it).

Having a building brings with it monthly expenses. Some of these are:

    Mortgage - $1600

    Utilities - $650

    Garbage Pickup - $65

Snow removal has been a huge expense this year.  Lawn maintenance has been $120 each month.  It's just like owning another home but multiplied by 4 due to size.

We want to be certain of the future of Feral Fixers and we need you, our donors, to help with not only the one-time purchases of sinks and flooring, but with the monthly expenses that maintain our day-to-day operations.  We've made a tremendous difference and need our supporters, those who believe in our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) mission, to donate now.

We have pledges of $10,000 in matching funds, so every dollar you donate as part of the Fundraiser up to $10,000 will be doubled!

Help us continue to help the cats of DuPage County by caring for even more cats in the future - THANK YOU!

About the Organization

Feral Fixers practices and promotes Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in and around DuPage County, IL. TNR is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated and sterilized by veterinarians. Healthy adult cats unsocialized to humans are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of their original caretakers.
