During Black Cat Giving Tuesday we take the opportunity to promote many of our adoptable cats with black coats.
Have you seen the black cats and kittens on our Adoptables page? Nolan, Noah, Minx, Midge, Megan, Joni, Grant, Gavin, Cozumel, Beakman are all beautiful black kittens! We always mention the black/white kittens as well, Minnie, Koko, Jolene, Gremlin, Gardenia, Gabriel, Gabby. There are more that have not reached our Adoptables listing! Coat colors seem to influence behavior and black cats seem to try harder to be part of their adopters’ lives!
One special kitten is Megan. Megan is a delightful kitten. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) and has learned to navigate very well, romping around her foster home with their resident cats. She prefers carpeting over more slippery floor surfaces and has progressed to navigating a step between rooms. Her wonderful purr motor will bring you lots of love and laughs.
As of 11/18/24, 820 cats will have been neutered, of those 295 were black or black/white. It seems that black and black/white cats are continuing to be about 35% of the population we encounter. So many cats! Take a look at our adoptables and change their lives AND yours!
Our 2024 Black Cat #Giving Tuesday Fundraiser supports the many cats and kittens that have no caretaker to donate to cover the costs of spay/neuter as we strive to neuter them all!
Our donors often wait for an opportunity to have their funds matched, we currently have $25,000 in funds to be matched! We have not had the time to do the multiple Giving Grid fundraisers we usually do in a year, caring for the cats in front of us is always the priority! Please help us achieve this aggressive goal, the cats will be very grateful! Please make a donation and share your own favorite photos, its great to see photos of some of the Feral Fixers alumni! Whether you donate $10 or $500, you will change the lives of these cats forever. You have until 12/31/24 but don’t wait until the last minute!
Thank you so much!
(Note, the cats listed above are subject to change - cats are being adopted and being made ready for adoption all the time).

About the Organization
We practice and promote Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Healthy adult cats unsocialized to humans are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of their original caretakers. We also help find homes for the adoptable cats we find during our efforts.
