Help Blue Eyes Walk Again

Urgent help needed for Blue Eyes!

Her name is Blue Eyes and at the tender age of one year old, she has endured a difficult existence on the streets. She is not a feral, was she dumped? How did she get this old injury that's been causing her extreme pain? How long has she been on the streets? Was she hit by a car while fending for herself? These are questions that we ask ourselves.

Campaign Details

This kitty was in such severe pain that we couldn’t wait to do a fundraiser before her surgery. Our main focus was on relieving her pain.

In the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic, our group became aware of a cat that was suffering, living on the street and struggling to walk properly.  A good person was able to rescue her.

Blue Eyes was immediately taken to our veterinarian. After an examination and x-rays, it was found that the limp was the result of a previous injury that was causing her extreme pain.  As much as we wanted to save her leg, the vet advised that there was no way of saving it. The only way that she would be pain-free would be by amputating her leg.

We heeded this advice and Blue Eyes’ leg was amputated.  She is currently under the excellent care of the vet. Blue Eyes will soon live a pain-free life.

We know that Covid19 has affected everyone in one way or another. So many people are financially struggling during this time and as much as they would like to continue supporting us they are not able to do so for now.

It will be greatly appreciated if you are able to help us, it doesn’t matter how small the donation, as we always say it all adds up.

We hope that you are staying safe and healthy during these difficult times that we are all facing.

It takes a village, you are ours and therefore, you are family. You are in our thoughts and in our hearts and we know that together we will all get through this pandemic.

As always, we will keep you updated on Blue Eyes' recovery.
