Peacefield Annual Campaign

Since 2008, Peacefield Equine Sanctuary has existed to care for horses that need both medical attention and behavioral training, with the goal of making them good equine citizens and ensuring their permanent safety. Horses are adopted very selectively, and there is a strong educational mission, not only to teach about rehabilitation, but to teach a standard of care to the local community of horse owners.

Campaign Details

Of all of the aspects of running Peacefield, our least favorite is asking for money from the public, but it is the most necessary because we can't help the horses without doing so. It would be easy to think that most of our funds could come from various grants, but the truth is that although we do win grants, the competition is fierce and so we need to raise money through fundraising also. This is where all of you come in. This year we have not been able to take in any new horses because we have not had the funds to do so. Donations have been down, and we need your support! Help us to raise money, not just for the continued care of the 8 horses that currently call Peacefield their home, but so we can rescue more horses.

It costs roughly $200 a month to care for one horse at Peacefield--that's $1600 in monthly costs to cover their feed and various veterinary expenses. Please donate today!
