Thanks and Giving for Senior Dogs!

"Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog." Sidney Jeanne Seward

Age may grey his muzzle, but a noble and gentle spirit is reflected even more brightly in an old dog's eyes.

Please take the Old Dog Challenge! Make a donation in honor of a dog you love or someone else in your life. Your gift will help at-risk senior dogs. Together we truly can create a world where no old dog dies alone and afraid.

We did it! Thanks to your generosity and efforts to spread the word about the Old Dog Challenge we exceeded our goal, raising more than $11,000 to help at-risk senior dogs! Every time I opened your pictures and dedications I was moved by your profound love for your dogs and compassion to help those who are less fortunate. I'm overwhelmed by the response to our last email blast! Almost 30 of you stepped up to donate in the past 3 hours! Thank you!

We're almost 90% of the way to our goal to raise $10,000 to provide medical care to senior dogs. We need to raise at least $1,000 by midnight tonight. You can help make that happen! Will you share the GivingGrid (https://givinggrid.com/olddogchallenge/) on social media and with 2 friends, asking them to each donate at least $10? If each of us does that, we'll exceed our goal!

Thank you for your generous donations and love for senior dogs!

    Lisa

Campaign Details

If your heart has been touched by an old dog, you know how much they have to teach us about loyalty, compassion, and eternal love.

The old dogs that share our hearts and homes are part of our family. Sadly, many old dogs are not that fortunate. Senior dogs slow down. They develop medical issues. And many find themselves alone, afraid, and at-risk in shelters across the country.

Grey Muzzle creates happy endings to these heartbreaking stories--on a national scale. We improve the lives of at-risk senior dogs by providing grants and other resources to animal welfare organizations nationwide. Examples of the kinds of programs we support include in-home hospice care, Seniors for Seniors adoption programs, medical assistance and beds for old dogs at shelters, and education programs to encourage adoption and quality care of senior dogs.

Please take the Old Dog Challenge and make a donation in honor of a dog you love or someone else in your life. Your generous donation will help us serve even more at-risk senior dogs.

Together we can create a world where no old dog dies alone and afraid. And what a beautiful world that would be.
