Campaign Details
Linda has always been a dedicated animal advocate and friend dating back to her early childhood. She has chosen this path to ensure those that cannot speak for themselves, have a voice in this world, to ensure those who have fallen on hard times have someone to count on, to ensure those who have never felt love, have full bellies and full hearts. It has not been an easy journey over the last 16 years, but Linda continues to march forward with a vision of a better tomorrow for our companion animals.
Currently, California is in a crisis state due to weather emergencies and the shelters being over-crowded. The amount of animals being turned into the shelters is still in record numbers. The emails and phone calls she receives every single day from shelters begging for help has tripled. Linda continues trying to help as much as she can. She works so hard and times have been rough. We have seen the stress, the worry and the discouragement in Linda's eyes but she fights through it and continues working and rescuing. She does this because she made a promise to these animals and she will never break a promise.
Linda's birthday wish has always been the same - to be able to continue doing the work she does best and loves the most. You can help by volunteering, adopting, donating, educating your friends and family and being a part of your community's efforts to end pet homelessness.
Linda has made a huge difference in the lives of many and we would like to honor our founder by wishing her a very happy birthday! And, as always, in lieu of gifts, Linda graciously asks you make a donation to the WorldHeart Foundation in recognition of her birthday and the animals in need.
Linda has spent her entire life giving back to others. She has entertained the world for many years through her movies, traveled around the world meeting fans, she has given to numerous charities, and she has rescued dogs from so many shelters. Let us join together and give back to Linda for her birthday. No amount is too small, whether it is giving up one day's worth of coffee, or donating the price of a movie ticket. Any amount will help. Let's make this one of Linda's happiest birthdays ever by helping her to help the voiceless! She deserves it.
Together we CAN make a difference!
We wish Linda a very happy, wonderful birthday!
