IGCA Rescue Texas 2015 Campaign

2015 brought RECORD rescue numbers for IGCA RESCUE Texas. Between August and October alone, we took in nearly 60 IGs.

IGRF has been hit fast and hard with 1000's of dollars in vet bills to get all of these IGs back on their feet, healthy, and ready for a new start in life!

We accept any age and any medical condition so no iggy is ever left behind, but we need your help.

Campaign Details

The recent surge of iggies in need came with two very large puppy mill intakes-they are ALL safe now, but veterinary care costs have been SIGNIFICANT and IMPACTFUL. With the intake of poorly nourished and poorly cared for IGs, we have also seen a surge in leg breaks and heartworm infections.

During 2015, in addition to caring for and finding homes for the adoptable IGs that have come in, we have also passionately provided hospice care for several iggies through our wonderful and dedicated foster homes. Our goal is to give them as many good days as possible while delicately balancing and evaluating quality of life along the way. These sweet IGs know love, compassion, care, and a family to call their own until it is time to leave us. IGRF proudly provides the veterinary care costs for these sweet and deserving IGs.

We are very fortunate that IGRF is able to provide veterinary care costs up front so that any IG entering our program can get the medical care they need RIGHT AWAY, without having to fund raise first; but there is not an endless pot of funds, and we must do all we can to replace those funds for the next group of IGs that need us. We hope to never turn away an IG in need because of lack of veterinary care funding.

Our initial goal is to reach $13,500. This is our break even number between money spent on vet care and the funds that have come in from volunteer fundraisers, community supported fundraisers, and collected adoption $$.

Anything collected over this amount will ALSO go to IGRF, giving the foundation a headstart on what will be needed for next year! Let's FILL THIS GRID!

Please help today. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL.
