Shot, Freed and Gained a Whole New Life

Urgent help needed for Goodwyn !

Yesterday we sent an email about a dog named Goodwyn.

Well, the latest update is that Goodwyn was saved from the shelter (those donations help) and had his leg amputated: it was a critical decision to save his life.

We are thankful for the donations and hope we can ask for help to make our much-needed goal.

Goodwyn is so banged up and needs a lot of medical intervention. He has old wounds from being hit by a car, bites, and scars tattooed on his whole body, and he needs another surgery for his hip.

We know it is overwhelming to see, but don't you think it's finally his time to be seen and told he matters?

Campaign Details

Goodwyn was recently mauled by something or many things. He has severe damage that was never addressed. His front leg has a luxating elbow band, and sadly it's well beyond the point of trying to repair it, and he will lose the leg. After 2-3 weeks of healing, he will need a femoral head osectomy to address his hip issue.

He was hit by a car, shot (bullet is in his leg), attacked, and lost.

All of this is just the surface of what Goodwyn has endured. We can't even imagine the heartbreak and disappointment he's lived. Finally, he was found and will now only know love and respect.

We can't wait to one day see Goodwyn wrapped in a warm blanket with his head on a soft pillow and a gigantic smile across his beautiful face. Knowing he is safe, loved, and with a family that will cherish him forever.

Goodwyn's medical care is going to be very expensive. Please understand we can't do any of this without your support. In return, we will take you on every step of Goodwyn's journey and let him know you are here to help him.

Please share Goodwyn's story and ask your friends to join the love gang and help him.

Thanks and gratitude.

It's me, Goodwyn: Thank you for supporting me and helping me get surgery. I am feeling so much better already, having that nasty mean leg removed. I am now a tripod and slowly learning to walk with only three legs, but I am getting the hang of it. Everyone here at Dr. Terry's is friendly to me and patient with teaching me a new way to live.

I will have to stay at the hospital for another 2 or 3 weeks while they rehabilitate me, and I need another surgery for my hip. It hurts, and I can't wait to get some relief.

I hope to be in touch again soon.

    Love,

    Goodwyn

Thank you for taking the time and resources to help Goodwyn. The latest update is that Goodwyn was saved from the shelter (those donations help!) and had his leg amputated at our vet partner's hospital: it was a critical decision to save his life.

We are thankful for the donations and hope we can ask for help to make our much-needed goal. Goodwyn is so banged up and needs a lot of medical intervention. He has old wounds from being hit by a car, bites, and scars tattooed on his whole body, and he needs another surgery for his hip.

We have all faith in Dr. T and her team. We know he will get the absolute best treatment there is.

Thank you again for your belief in Goodwyn.
