Campaign Details
Ever-increasing environmental challenges mean Bird Rescue is always responding to unexpected situations and struggling to absorb the costs. From brown pelicans unexpectedly falling from the skies during graduations to changing polluted oceans and natural environments, this has been an active season for Bird Rescue and there is increasing complexity in responding to the challenges that face wildlife. We need your help.
Murres are in an emergency situation. In early July we saw the first wave of Murres coming into our center, they were starving and some were contaminated with oil. We've seen an alarming uptick in Murres admitted since then compared to recent years.
To respond to this E-murre-gency and prepare for the next, we need to raise $50,000 by 8/31. Your contribution is critical- From identifying a wildlife crisis as it is happening, to admitting birds into our care, to donating to save waterbirds in crisis- we can't do any of our work without you!
