Thank you for stopping by my fundraiser page. I was involved in a motorcycle accident on Sunday October 9th 2022. I was a few blocks away from my home when a car made an aggressive left turn in front of me. The car should have stopped, and allowed me to pass but it did not. I was unable to stop, struck the side of the car and was thrown several feet.

The reason I am asking for assistance with funds is because I am the stay at home parent in our home that keeps the kids on schedule, does the household shopping and prepares all of our meals. Since I am not home and won't be able to drive for several months even after I am home, we've had to enroll our oldest son into early morning program for 2nd grade. We've also had to enroll our 3 year old into full day preschool 5 days a week with early dropoff. This investment is something we intentionally avoided over the years by me remaining a stay at home Dad. It's a lot of money for the combined programs especially since I am not able to work. This is a huge change for the boys too, it's going to be very stressful for them and for my wife. I also will not be able to fulfill any jobs for my catering business or side work until I can walk again.

Currently I have very little strength because I am on a liquid diet and my body has been through massive trauma. My jaw was broken and is now wired shut in order to heal properly over the next 3 weeks. Getting proper nutrition through a straw is proving to be very difficult.

My other injuries include a broken right hip and both legs are broken. Thankfully the surgeries went well and there are no signs of brain damage. I just got into an acute rehab center on October 20th, and will be here for at least 3 weeks or until i can function in a wheelchair without putting any weight on my legs. At that point they will determine if I can go home or if I should go to another rehab facility. I will not be able to walk, drive or do anything involving weight on my legs for at least 2 months.

This whole experience is extremely overwhelming. I am a man that takes control of situations but right now I am not able to do that. This fundraiser is my way of doing something, and my only way of helping my family. Please consider donating, thank you.
