This poor starved baby boy... 💔

Urgent help needed for Nico!

Our first rescue of the year and it's so sad... Meet Nico New Beginnings.

He's so skinny it hurts. It felt really good to get him out of the cold and wind. It's sad that he was just waiting for someone... anyone.... to be kind to him and help him. We've got you Nico!

He's made all of us melt with those eyes that look into your soul and look how sweet he is. We don't know what else is happening with him yet, but as you can see, he's in pretty bad shape...

We could really use some help to make this precious boy better...

    Nico has found his voice!

    Check it out! So cute!

This is how he greets his foster mom every day! He was our first rescue of 2024. He was emaciated and hiding against a house from the wind. We walked up to him and he instantly came to us, so thankful someone finally stopped to help him. We didn't even need a leash, he let us pick him up and put him right in the rescue Jeep.

He's been slowly and safely gaining weight in his foster home. His foster mom says his favorite thing to do is give kisses! He's the sweetest angel boy! We can't wait to get an updated weight, which we will share as soon as we hear back!

Thank you again for helping us make this happen!

    Love,
    Stray Rescue

We wanted to take a picture of Nico all snuggly and warm with his stuffed animals for you, but if you get even remotely close to him, he becomes the wiggliest torpedo! If you open his doors, he just shoots out into your arms at lightning speed! ????

This is one special boy, he just can't get close enough to us. He weighs in at 32 pounds and should be double that. We'll let everyone know when he is medically cleared and ready to continue his healing journey in a foster home, where he can sprawl out across his people. But for now, he needs to stay with us and get healthier!

Thank you again for helping us make this happen!

    Love,
    Stray Rescue
