Campaign Details

Puerto Morelos Cause4Paws is a NO KILL pet rescue that provides food, deworming, flea and tick control, as well as medical and surgical services for homeless pets in a small fishing village south of Cancun, Mexico.

The rescue currently houses 40 dogs and 20 cats. On any given day we can find a new dog or box of kittens left outside the gate. We survive entirely on donations. Once healthy, pets are available for adoption both locally and internationally.

Our GivingGrid campaign goal is to spay and neuter 350 dogs and cats in 3 days in the towns of Central Vallarta and Leona Vicario. While all veterinary services will be donated by Drs. Kay and Pierre Tung of Bridgeton Animal Hospital, and Dr. Valeria Suarez of La Vet del Puerto, surgical supplies, medications, and anesthesia must be purchased from a local agency at the cost of $15.00 per pet. This amount is truly unaffordable for pet owners in these towns, hence the continual litters of puppies and kittens leading to homeless pets.

Please help us break the cycle and donate to our spay and neuter program!
