Holiday Hope for Holly

Imagine being 8-yr-old Holly: Put out on the side of the road in the cold. Hiding under cars for warmth. Scraped and bruised. Then, desperate for nourishment, ingesting poison. Picked up by animal control and brought to our shelter, then vet. After a week of horrors, Holly is now in the fight of her life. Holly needs us. She needs us all. Please help.

    HOLLY UPDATE!

Holly has been released from the vet and is in our care for her continued recovery period. Right now, she's giving her all to help us pay off her bill in 2017, so that we can enter 2018 without vet debt. Isn't she a sweetie? Yes she is, and smart to boot! She put on a great performance in her bid for donations:

We are soooooo close, and keep in mind, we are a 501c3 charity, so donations get that needed year-end tax deduction! Can you hit that "share" button just one more time?

Thank you for all your love and support. We are looking forward to Holly's next chapter. It will be a Happy New Year for Holly, and we wish the same for each of you!

    HOLLY FEELS YOUR LOVE

THANK YOU FOR GIVING AND SHARING for our abandoned poison victim, Holly.

Unfortunately, Holly won't be getting out of the hospital before Christmas as we hoped. Rat poisoning keeps blood from clotting, and everything is a risk for her still. But Holly is learning love while getting care.

We are happy to say, we have raised enough to pay for her 1st 24hrs of emergency care!! But still need to pay for her 7+ day stay, so please continue to share. We are truly feeling the Christmas spirit surrounding this strong little girl.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to each of you, and love from Holly ~

Campaign Details

Holly was put out to fend for herself during freezing temperatures. She was seen getting under cars for warmth. Perhaps that is how she got her many scrapes, bumps and cuts. But it isn't what nearly killed her.

When she was caught by animal control and brought to the shelter, it didn't take long to realize something more serious was wrong. Whether she ate poison or drank antifreeze, this 25# little girl was bleeding and fading fast.

Our shelter is not in a big city with corporate sponsors. In fact, every month is a struggle to survive. Earlier this year, we nearly didn't - but donors helped us climb out of debt. Still, huge vet bills are nowhere in the budget. Yet where an animal has a will to live, we will not deny them.

Holly is at the vet receiving all the support possible. Today, Wednesday, she ate. She wants to live. She will need to stay at the vet days more, at several hundred dollars each day. Please help us support her fight. Let her nightmare end and a new life of love begin.
