BOXER RESCUE VT BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER

FOR MY BIRTHDAY I WANT TO RAISE $ TO HELP BOXER RESCUE of VT SO THEY CAN CONTINUE THEIR IMPORTANT LIFE SAVING MISSION.

I ❤️Boxers!
I've chosen this nonprofit b/c their mission is very dear to my heart and I hope you'll consider contributing whatever your able as a way to celebrate my Birthday with me.

Everything you donate will help reach our goal. More dogs are in need now with our economy & costs of saving & caring for them have gone way up far exceeding budget.

🆘 Please, give $20 or $200+ it's all integral to keeping the rescues doors open and giving precious Boxers a chance at a new life and love. Thank you

    Dear Friend

This is way more than a happy birthday fundraiser  - This is a plea to help us stay opened so we can continue helping the forlorn dogs who’ve been discarded and can’t save themselves. The past couple years have been very challenging, on so many levels, The lockdowns, lack of opportunity for in person fundraising events, loss of volunteers due to increased home schooling, sickness and other factors… It’s not an option to ignore the many dogs who have needed and received rescue, restoration and rehoming from our little organization but so many others still need to be saved.

On a personal level this past year has been a real test, Serious illnesses, broken bones, and the loss of 2 of our most beloved volunteers… one dying from Covid & the other person (who is + always will be my soulmate & best friend) sadly succumbed to severe injuries from a vehicular accident after months of surgeries and hospitalization.

God knows I have been struggling to keep up everything. It’s the Saving and caring for each of the dogs that has always been my favorite priority & the  paying for it all I have trusted in God & the generosity of you our amazing community to get us through.

November/Thanksgiving, Christmas and The new year was brutal here, being isolated out here on my rural mountain, my 1st holidays without my Soulmate, rescue partner & best friend, I’ve never felt so paralyzed and sad ... The grief  made it impossible for me to do the administrative tasks needed for the annual holiday fundraising. Yes, That’s right, I did no fundraising for thanksgiving & didn’t even start the Christmas fundraiser until Dec 24th and sadly that was just too late & because of this we only raised about $700 of the $5k needed to get us out of debt & allow a small reserve for daily rescue expenses.

We have a new volunteer board member, who loves animals and has been a great asset for the last few years as a transport, home visit & foster volunteer. No one will ever be able to fill Sean’s shoes but I know that he is in heaven and doesn’t want us to quit.

THINGS ARE URGENT HERE, The rescue operation is in the red and if we are going to be able to continue we need your most diligent networking efforts and generous financial support right now.

We are so grateful to every one who contributed this past year but we hope you’re able to help a bit more to enable us to stay open and continue our important lifesaving mission.

I’m including the fundraiser- link here; please do whatever you can to help raise the support needed so we can stay opened.

Kindly Forward this email and share this link on your Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, instagram and linkedin accounts too.

Rescue is in the red and we really need everyone’s help to reach as many people as possible to let others know of our situation and give them the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of dogs in need by giving and networking this important fundraiser.
