"If every parent had to take a course through Hand in Hand, our world would be completely transformed."
Are you like this parent?
If you too have been touched by the work of Hand in Hand, dedicate a heart to a parent you love. Give to 1000 Hearts for Hand in Hand and continue support for parents and their families through 2020.
How Do Your Gifts Help?
Hand in Hand Parenting programs improve parent-child relationships through research, education, awareness and support.
We reach and transform situations for parents who feel depressed, isolated, and failing.
The Hand in Hand tools and resources show parents how to shed their fear, break cycles of violence, anger and trauma, and reconnect with their kids using positive, simple, science-backed strategies.
This is the impact:
"I had postpartum depression and was worried I couldn't parent my kids the way I wanted to. The support I received turned it all around. I dread to think what it could have been like without these wonderful people helping me."
Why Help Hand in Hand?
As a non-profit, every dollar Hand in Hand receives goes into supporting parents. We provide:
- Free literature, advice and counselling.
- Parent scholarships.
- Classes and support in underserved communities.
- Research and training that will put the approach into trauma-based classrooms.
- Staff able to respond to parents around the clock when things get hard.
We need to raise $30,000 to continue through 2020.
Do You Heart Hand in Hand?
Help fill this wall of love and help us reach $30,000.
When you support 1000 Hearts for Hand in Hand you support the vital work all parents do. Very simply, it's work that builds the next generation.
